Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) will submit to Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) a list of parliamentary constituencies it believes could be split.
PBS Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam said the party had begun compiling its proposals but would not disclose specific constituencies at this stage.
He said the list would first be consolidated by PBS before being submitted to the GRS leadership for consideration.
“PBS will submit to GRS a list of the seats which we feel from the PBS perspective should be divided,” he said.
Joachim said the consolidated proposal would then be submitted to the Election Commission (EC), which would be the ultimate decision-maker, adding that the proposals were currently being compiled by PBS secretary-general.
