PCAKK reaffirms commitment to free palliative home care in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu: The Palliative Care Association of Kota Kinabalu (PCAKK) reaffirmed its commitment to providing free palliative home care services to patients with life-limiting illnesses across Sabah during a courtesy visit to Suria Capital Holdings Berhad Group Managing Director Datuk Ahmad Rizal Dahli at the company's headquarters recently.

The visit also provided an opportunity for PCAKK to share updates on its community-based palliative care services and discuss its 27th Annual Charity Dinner and Concert 2026, which will be held on Sept 19 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

The delegation was led by organising chairman and vice-president Dr Mathan Mohan Rao, accompanied by immediate past president Ivy Stanislaus, legal adviser Datin Mary Gomez, committee member Datin Liza and executive secretary Benzie Richard.

PCAKK said this year's charity dinner will feature the Australian Bruno Mars Tribute Show, with all proceeds supporting its community-based palliative care services and future patient care programmes throughout Sabah.

The association also expressed its appreciation to Ahmad Rizal for his hospitality and the opportunity to introduce its mission and fundraising initiatives.
