The post PDRM Arrests Man at Kelantan Petrol Station for Using 4 MyKads to Purchase Over 100 Litres of RON95 appeared first on WORLD OF BUZZ.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the monthly BUDI MADANI RON95 (BUDI95) petrol allocation for Malaysians will be temporarily cut from 300 litres to 200 litres, starting 1 April.

Anwar said the adjustment won’t affect most users, given that nearly 90% of the population consumes less than 200 litres per month, amid uncertainties in the global oil market and the impact of conflicts in West Asia on supply and the world economy.

Man caught using four MyKads to buy petrol in Kelantan

While most citizens are adjusting their budgets to manage fuel costs, a man in Kelantan was apprehended for attempting to circumvent the system to purchase over 100 litres of RON95 petrol.

On 1 April, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) arrested the individual for allegedly using MyKads belonging to four different people to facilitate the purchase.

According to Berita Harian, Kelantan Police Chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat confirmed that the incident occurred at a petrol station in Tumpat, where the suspect was caught in the act of refuelling.

“When we intercepted him, we discovered four identity cards belonging to different individuals in his possession. He had used these MyKads to purchase over 100 litres of petrol,” Yusoff explained.

Following the arrest, the case was referred to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN). The suspect is also being investigated under the National Registration Act 1959 for the unauthorised possession of multiple identity cards.

“Police will also explore other relevant laws to ensure appropriate action is taken against him,” Yusoff added.
