PENAMPANG: Penampang PKR youth chief Eldridge Laurence Timis (pic) has called for the Pakatan Harapan (PH) logo to be the sole symbol used in the upcoming state election.
He said the suggestion to use the Upko logo, raised by Upko Penampang secretary Bryan Matasing, was not in line with PH’s agreed approach.
Eldridge questioned the effectiveness of the Upko logo, noting that 91.7 per cent of its candidates were unsuccessful in the last state election.
He stressed that the PH presidential council had already decided that all component parties must use the PH logo without exception.
“The PH logo represents unity and strength, and Penampang PKR will stand firmly behind this decision,” he said.
