PETALING JAYA: Enterprise information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider Pentech Holdings Bhd posted a net profit of RM3.06 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q2’26), on revenue of RM75.08 million.

There were no comparative figures for the preceding year’s corresponding quarter as this is only the company’s second interim financial report following its listing on the ACE Market on June 15.
For the first six months of 2026, Pentech recorded a net profit of RM4.76 million on revenue of RM141.53 million.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue rose 13% from RM66.46 million in Q1’26, driven mainly by stronger contributions from its integration of enterprise ICT infrastructure and provision of cloud and managed services segments.

Profit before tax (PBT) nearly doubled to RM4.53 million from RM2.29 million in the preceding quarter, while net profit increased 80.1% from RM1.70 million, supported by higher revenue, improved gross profit contribution and lower spending on marketing events.

The Q2’26 results, however, were affected by RM1.51 million in one-off listing expenses. Excluding these expenses, adjusted PBT would have stood at RM6.04 million and adjusted net profit at RM4.57 million. For the six-month period, adjusted PBT and net profit would have amounted to RM9.40 million and RM7.33 million respectively after excluding RM2.58 million in listing expenses.
Pentech managing director and chief executive officer Yeoh Chin Ming said the group’s adjusted earnings demonstrated the resilience of its underlying enterprise ICT business despite the impact of non-recurring listing expenses.

“We continued to sustain revenue momentum and deliver healthy profitability for Q2’26 and the first half of the financial year,” he said in a statement.

The board also declared a single-tier interim dividend of 0.5 sen per ordinary share, amounting to RM3.1 million, payable on Sept 30, 2026.

Looking ahead, Yeoh said the group remained optimistic about its prospects, supported by continued demand for IT and digital solutions, a growing order book and expansion into artificial intelligence, cloud and managed services.

Pentech is also planning to establish a new security operations centre and upgrade its operations command centre infrastructure as part of efforts to strengthen its capabilities and support long-term growth.

The group raised gross proceeds of RM34.40 million from its initial public offering, strengthening its financial position. As at June 30, 2026, total equity stood at RM68.81 million, compared with RM31.52 million at the end of 2025, while cash, short-term deposits and fixed deposits totalled RM63.21 million.
