A Perak headmaster has lodged a police report over a viral video showing a mother confronting him about allegations that he sexually harassed her daughter.
The incident, which took place at a school in Teluk Intan, drew attention after footage of the confrontation was shared online.
Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin said preliminary investigations indicated that the girl’s family had confronted the headmaster after he allegedly contacted her to express feelings of love and affection.
Nine statements recorded

Reported by FMT, Alwi said police had recorded statements from nine people in connection with the case.
He added that the matter was being investigated under the Penal Code, the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and Section 15(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which concerns non physical sexual assault.
Alwi said police would conduct a detailed investigation into both matters, particularly as the case involved a civil servant.
Mum confronted headmaster in viral video
As previously reported by WeirdKaya, the video showed the girl’s mother confronting the headmaster in his office while accompanied by another woman.
The confrontation reportedly followed allegations that the headmaster had sent an “I love you” message to her 15 year old daughter.
Temporarily moved to education office
On Oct 25, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said she had directed the Perak Education Department to investigate the allegations.
She added that the headmaster had been temporarily moved to the Bagan Datuk district education office pending the completion of the investigation.
