
The Perak edition of the MADANI Rakyat programme has drawn over 93,000 visitors in just two days, approaching its three-day goal with a wide range of government services on offer
IPOH: The Perak MADANI Rakyat programme 2026 has attracted over 93,000 visitors as of its second day, nearing its original three-day target of 100,000.
Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said the achievement proved strong public confidence in the government initiative.
“This programme is not just an event,” Nga said in his opening speech. He described it as a manifestation of the government’s determination to listen and translate public needs into action.
The event was officially opened by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah.
Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.
Nga said the programme allows direct public interaction with various government departments and agencies. He expressed appreciation to the Perak state government and all involved parties for their cooperation.
The synergy reflects a shared commitment to delivering development and services comprehensively to the grassroots.
Running from April 3 to 5, the Perak edition is the first PMR programme for 2026. It offers more than 200 government services and various activities to the public.
