KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 — Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor for the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, announced permanent road closures and traffic diversions on Jalan Langat (Banting-bound) and Jalan Batu Unjur junction in Klang, effective from July 20, 2024.

In a statement today, it said the closures are based on the final road design approved by the Public Works Department (JKR).

Motorists travelling from Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (Banting-bound) towards Jalan Batu Unjur will need to make a U-turn at the Jalan Serunai 1 and Lebuh Batu Nilam intersection.

They should then proceed straight onto Jalan Langat (Klang-bound) before turning left onto the Jalan Batu Unjur slip road, said the statement.

Motorists from Jalan Batu Unjur heading towards Jalan Langat (Banting-bound) will be diverted onto Jalan Langat (Klang-bound), said the statement.

They will need to make a U-turn at the traffic light junction after the Seri Andalas LRT station to return onto Jalan Langat (Banting-bound), as indicated on the map below.

For further information, the public can contact the LRT3 helpline at 1 800 18 2585, available from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (excluding public holidays).
