Perodua lowers prices of Axia models with immediate effect

PERUSAHAAN Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) has reduced the price of the Axia model by up to RM4,700 with immediate effect, following the company's continued improvement in operational efficiency.

The price reduction for Malaysia's most affordable compact vehicle model is to improve daily mobility needs.

The price reduction for the model, which is among the top choices of Malaysians, is part of the company's efforts to share the benefits of operational savings with customers, in addition to strengthening its commitment to helping people face the increasingly challenging economic environment.

The revision sees the Axia 1.0G receiving the biggest price reduction of RM4,700, followed by the 1.0X (RM1,500), 1.0SE (RM1,000) and 1.0AV (RM500).

The revised prices apply to both Peninsular and East Malaysia.

Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, said the new price is part of the company's ongoing efforts to reduce the cost pressures faced by Malaysians. – August 3, 2026
