Former UMNO Youth Leader, Khairy Jamaluddin described the release of former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak as bringing greater value to Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN), compared to the release of Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Khairy stated in a new episode of the Keluar Sekejap podcast with Shahril Hamdan today that Najib's release adds value to the Unity Government.
"Compare 'Bossku' (Najib) to Zahid; the person who will add value to stem the 'green wave' is Najib." What does Zahid have? He has no value whatsoever," said Khairy.
After 77 days of trial at the High Court, Zahid was acquitted without discharge (DNAA) of 47 counts relating to the Akalbudi Foundation yesterday, following an application by the Attorney General's Office (AGC) to the court.
According to Berita Harian, Judge Datuk Collin Lawrence Sequerah (now of the Court of Appeal) granted the Attorney General's Office (AGC) request to halt the trial procedures for all allegations against the Deputy Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, Khairy asserted that the government is currently using a 'kitchen-sink' approach, doing unpleasant things hoping the situation will improve later.
"Kitchen sink everything and release Najib from prison because he will bring you more value. You have buried Malaysia's purity. Pardon Najib," he said on the show.
Meanwhile, Khairy declared that on the 25th anniversary of the Reformation, the decision to release Zahid had 'stoned in stone' what had previously been sung. He felt bad for Anwar.
"He went through many challenges to become Prime Minister, and if we look at the formation of character, he must want a good ending for himself, but he has to ‘carry' this thing," he explained.
In fact, Khairy mocked the agenda of the government's struggle to promote good governance now, but everything has changed and become a joke.
