PAKATAN Harapan (PH) Melaka has settled the distribution of state seats among its component parties for the upcoming state election, with Amanah retaining an allocation of eight seats under the arrangement agreed at state level.
PH Melaka chairman Adly Zahari said the final line-up would be confirmed after discussions involving the PH Presidential Council, the state PH leadership and PH election director Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.
“Whatever it is, we will wait until next week. The seat distribution is already under the attention of the Election Director (Amirudin) before we bring it to the coalition’s highest level for finalisation.
“So far, the seat distribution within the context of PH remains as agreed at the state level, with Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) allocated eight seats,” he told reporters after the PH Perdana Ceramah at Bukit Baru in Melaka last night.
Also present were Amanah president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and acting chairman of the PKR Melaka State Leadership Council (MPN), Adam Adli Abdul Halim.
Adly said the coalition’s strategy for contesting the Melaka state election would also be announced after the seat distribution report has been finalised. - September 27, 2026
