PH's Kat Llegado wins Miss Supranational 2026

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines added another international pageant crown to its growing list of achievements after Katrina "Kat" Llegado was named Miss Supranational 2026 during the competition's coronation night in Małopolska, Poland on Friday, July 31 (Saturday in Manila).

Llegado is only the second Filipina to win the prestigious title, following Mutya Datul's historic victory in 2013. She also made history as the first Miss Supranational winner to wear the pageant's new Fioletowa Crown.

The victory capped a strong performance from the Philippine representative, who impressed throughout the competition and delivered a heartfelt response during the Top 5 question-and-answer round.

She was asked, "Tell us about the moment you stopped trying to become the woman the world expected and started becoming the woman you're meant to be.”

Llegado confidently answered, "I always believe that we should never fit into a mold. We are perfectly imperfect. I am someone who struggles with perfection. I am here today doing my best and becoming my best version. And here in Miss Supranational, I know I belong. I know a place for me — and this is becoming Supra — above and beyond."

Brazil's Eduarda Braum crowned Llegado at the end of the event, marking the Philippines' second victory in the pageant's 17-year history.

Completing the Top 5 were France's Eve Gilles as first runner-up, Brazil's Lara Marina as second runner-up, Nigeria's Ndah Eno as third runner-up, and Czech Republic's Karolína Gorylová as fourth runner-up.

Before capturing the Miss Supranational crown, Llegado had already built an impressive pageant résumé. She won the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 title and finished as fifth runner-up at Reina Hispanoamericana 2019. She later reached the Top 6 of the Miss Universe Philippines competition before earning the Miss Supranational Philippines 2026 title, which gave her the opportunity to represent the country on the international stage.
