KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) Tanjung Aru candidate Datuk Chan Foong Hin (pic) said a strong mandate for the coalition in the state polls is needed to ensure Sabahans see practical gains from development.
He said Sabah requires clean governance, capable administration and genuine reforms instead of politics that plays on division or sentiment.
Chan said he and all PH candidates are Sabahans and that sincerity in serving the state should not be measured by claims of who is more local.
He warned that Sabah cannot afford to fall back into cycles of political manoeuvring that have disrupted continuity, noting the contrast between the state’s frequent changes in leadership and Sarawak’s steadier path.
He urged voters to back PH as the coalition that he said remains committed to integrity, stability and progress under the national Madani agenda.
