
KENINGAU: Pickleball continues to gain popularity in Sabah, with the Flow & Glow Pickleball Tournament successfully bringing together enthusiasts of the sport in a lively and energetic atmosphere at Pickle Culture Club, Keningau, on Sunday.
The tournament attracted numerous participants who showcased their sporting abilities, competitive spirit and enthusiasm for a game that is rapidly becoming a popular recreational activity among people of different ages.
Among those who attended and helped enliven the event was Tengku Datin Aini Ibrahim, wife of Bingkor Assemblyman Datuk Mohd Ishak Ayub.
Aini expressed her excitement and admiration for the enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed by participants throughout the tournament.
She described the sport as more than just a current trend, saying it could serve as an effective platform for encouraging an active lifestyle, improving agility and maintaining cardiovascular health.
“Pickleball is not only about competition, but also about building friendships, strengthening community ties and encouraging people to remain active and healthy,” she said in her message.
