BEAUFORT: The actions of few parties in Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) “grabbing” members of components must stop because they clearly do not respect the spirit of comradeship.
Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Vice President Datuk Ruslan Muharam said such action has happened and may cause division in GRS. He claimed the action also involved “bribing” other party members especially branch heads with positions to entice them.
Ruslan who is also Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister said this when met at the opening of the GRS Women’s wing Zone Tour at Dun Banir hall, Saturday.
He said it is best to stop any “stealing” members from coalition partners, and focus on the participation of non-party individuals or even members of the opposing party.
