
TAWAU: The launch of Cultural Pit-Stops (Cultural Stops) in districts of Sabah is one of the platforms of the Sabah Cultural Board (LKNS) to protect the ethnic language and culture in this state, now facing extinction.
LKNS Chairman, Datuk OKK Titing Putang said based on a study by University Malaysia Sabah (UMS), ethnicity, language and culture were almost extinct and now only 30 per cent remained and were in the yellow zone.
