The PKNS Selangor Masters returns from February 11–14 as the season-opening event of the 2026 Asian Development Tour (ADT), offering a US$175,000 purse.
The tournament will once again be staged at Seri Selangor Golf Club, known for its strategic risk-reward layout, and will see ADT players compete alongside leading professionals from the Professional Golf of Malaysia (PGM) Tour.
Now in its 13th staging, the event is promoted by PKNS Golf Management Services, with PKNS serving as title sponsor since 2022. Selangor State Secretary Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin said the tournament has become a key fixture on the Selangor sporting calendar while playing an important role in developing golf and showcasing the state.
The 144-player field will feature 80 ADT players, 40 from the PGM Tour and 24 invitees, with a new 36-hole Qualifying Tournament on January 27–28 offering three spots in the main event. In support of youth development, the champion of the Selangor International Junior Golf Championship and Japan-based junior standout Daichi Hayashi will receive invitational slots.
The PKNS Selangor Masters will once again launch what is expected to be a strong ADT season, with the top 10 on the Order of Merit earning Asian Tour cards. Thailand’s Tawit Polthai won last year’s title, while Malaysia’s best finish came from amateur Hariz Hezri. First staged in 2007, the tournament has been a regular at Seri Selangor and remains one of the ADT’s most established events.
