PKR Information Chief Fahmi Fadzil says the 2026 PKR National Congress served to renew the party’s determination, strengthen machinery, and advance the reform agenda.

KUALA LUMPUR: The 2026 Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) National Congress, which concluded today, served as a platform to renew the determination of the party’s struggle and strengthen its machinery to ensure that its reform agenda continues to benefit the people.

PKR Information Chief Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil said the two-day congress was not merely a platform for speeches and debates, but also a space for self-reflection, listening to the grassroots, assessing the party’s strengths and weaknesses, and renewing its commitment to the cause.

He noted that the address by PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim delivered a clear reminder that the reformasi (reform) struggle must continue and that the party’s strength must always be anchored in the interests of the people.

“We return to our respective constituencies and reconnect with the people, listen to their views, understand their concerns, and keep finding ways to solve the problems they face. We must also strengthen our organization and move as an organized and disciplined team.

“Political challenges will continue to come, but Keadilan must remain steadfast in its principles and the people’s struggle agenda,” he said in a Facebook post.

Fahmi added that although the congress has ended, the responsibility of the party machinery continues, with members needing to return to work harder, listen, and ensure that the struggle continuously brings tangible benefits.
