SHAH ALAM – Lembah Jaya assemblyman Syed Ahmad Abdul Rahman Alhadad has been announced as the winner of the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) 2025 polls for the position of Ampang division chief.

Better known as Altimet, he secured 1,926 votes, defeating his two challengers – Mohd Kamri Kamaruddin, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the Selangor State Assembly (1,637 votes) and Azrul Azwar Ahmad Tajudin, who received 236 votes.

Out of 4,636 eligible members, 3,815 ballot papers were cast, reflecting a strong level of participation in this election.

The victory strengthens Altimet’s position in mainstream politics, particularly in championing grassroots voices in Ampang.

Previously, he began serving as the assemblyman for Lembah Jaya after winning the seat in the 2023 state election.

As an assemblyman, he has been actively advocating for various public issues including community development, education, the arts and youth – aligning with his background as an activist and former artist known for speaking out on social matters.
