A paraglider narrowly escaped death after an aircraft tore through her chute while she was in the air in the Salzburg region of Austria.
Footage posted by Instagram user @sab_thi on Sunday (24 May) shows a light aircraft colliding with the chute, sending her spinning through the air.
She activated a second chute after the collision.
"The day a Cessna 172 takes you out of the sky while you're paragliding," she wrote.
"I still can't quite believe I'm sitting here typing this, and apart from a few nasty bruises and some general contusions, nothing really happened."
