A third luxury cruise ship is being built for Four Seasons Yachts.
Italian shipyard Fincantieri confirmed that it has signed a contract with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Limited, the joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts, for the construction of a third vessel by the hotel chain.
The ship will be built by Fincantieri at its Ancona shipyard and is scheduled for delivery in 2031.
A statement from Fincantieri said the new vessel will feature the same all-suite, residential-style concept as its two sister ships.
At 207 metres in length and approximately 34,000 gross tons, the shipyard said it will accommodate suites designed to “maximise the connection between guests and the ocean through expansive terraces and open-air living spaces.”
The first luxury yacht from the brand, Four Seasons I, embarked on its maiden voyage in the Mediterranean in March.
Features include large suites, private plunge pools, high-end food and access to yacht-only harbours.
In its debut year, the yacht will offer 32 voyages across 52 sailings, visiting some 130 destinations in more than 30 countries.
A second yacht, Four Seasons II, is due to be delivered in 2028.
There will be a choice of 11 venues to eat and drink on board including a premium Japanese restaurant called Miuna and a champagne and caviar bar.
Guests will also be able to swim and do watersports alongside the ship when the sides open up in calmer waters.
Pierroberto Folgiero, chief executive and managing director of Fincantieri, said: “The decision to expand the fleet with a third vessel reflects the strength of a long-term industrial vision and confirms the market’s appreciation for a concept that has successfully created a new segment at the intersection of luxury hospitality and advanced shipbuilding.”
