According to the company, the KL Sentral and Tun Sambanthan stations' Platform Automatic Gates System (PAGS) is completely functional as of November 15, 2024.The installation of PAGS, which is part of a larger improvement project being carried out by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad (Prasarana), is a major step in improving platform passenger safety, lowering the chance of accidents and giving all passengers—including those with disabilities (PWDs)—more comfort and confidence. In order to further strengthen safety precautions, Prasarana states that PAGS are made to work in tandem with train doors and include three emergency exit doors in addition to fixed screens at the platform ends. image is not availableIn the second phase, PAGS at four 4 monorail stations between Maharajalela and Bukit Bintang are planned to be operational by the end of this month, with the other five stations slated for completion by the end of December 2024, the company noted.
