Bengaluru, India | May 29, 2026 After six weeks of packed matchdays, shifting momentum, rivalries that kept tightening till the very end, and crowds that stayed long after the final point, the Sumadhura Centre Court BLR Pickleball League is officially heading into its biggest weekend yet.
The semi-final and final fixtures will take place on Saturday, May 30, 4pm onwards, at the Centre Court Arena, Chamara Vajra, Jayamahal Road, Bengaluru.
Saturday’s hosts, Ayana Woods Chargers, sealed top spot on the table last weekend – and a direct place in the finals – after dominating the entire league, winning against all teams they played against. Led by Rishi Reddy, the Chargers closed out the league stages with composure under pressure, finishing just ahead of a Southern Primes side that had looked dominant for much of the season. Southern Primes, meanwhile, will play in the semi-finals play-off clash against Rally Renegades, a rematch between the teams after they played last weekend, but with a place in the championship match on the line, this time. Captains of both teams – Rashein Samuel and Sharmada Balu – will no doubt be leading the charge with hunger to win.
“What’s exciting is how competitive the league has become right at the end,” said Yashwanth Biyyala, Co-founder, Centre Court Sports & Entertainment. “You can feel the pressure shifting now. Every team in the top three has had moments this season where they’ve looked capable of going all the way, and that’s what should make the semi-final and final really interesting. The stakes – and the game quality on court – are expected to rise even further.” Over the course of the season, Centre Court BLR has steadily grown from a new sporting property into one of Bengaluru’s busiest and most talked-about weekend experiences. Across six match weekends, close to 10,000 attendees have come through the Centre Court Arena, with packed crowds turning up week after week for a mix of high-level pickleball, food, music, nightlife energy, and community-driven sport. More than 20 food, beverage, hospitality, and entertainment partners have collaborated with the league across the season. Some of them are Monkey Bar, Mezcalita, Serious Slice, Daysie, Super Naatu, Araku Coffee, Classic Coffee alongside performances and appearances from names including Adi Lodha, Ved Prajapati, Aamer Peeran and several creators, athletes, and community figures from across the city.
“The goal was never just to host matches. It was to build an atmosphere people genuinely wanted to spend their Saturday evenings around. The pickleball has stayed competitive and serious, but the culture growing around it is what’s made Centre Court feel different week after week,” says Vikrant Rao, Co-founder, Centre Court Sports & Entertainment In addition to the biggest matches of the season, finals weekend will also feature curated food, beverage and entertainment experiences. The line-up includes the ever popular 23rd Street Pizza, Super Naati with their stellar biryani and kebabs, Daysie all-day diner, Chinta for your fill of Mexican food, Yuki with their innovative sushi, Sikandar, Waterful and of course, dessert from Labonel. There will be plenty more options, as well as matchday experiences planned across the evening including live music by Curry on my Mind. Guests can sign up for an invitation here.
Backed by title sponsor Sumadhura Group, alongside partners including Labonel Fine Baking and Red Rhino Craft Brewery, the league featured six franchise teams — Ayana Woods Chargers, Mana BMR Smash Club, Net Ninjas, Nin9s, Rally Renegades, and Southern Primes – competing in a seven-week franchise-style format blending competitive sport with community and culture.
