Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister and Secretary General, Haryana Olympic Association, Krishan Lal Panwar, has welcomed the state government’s significant amendment to the Sports Gradation Policy.

Panwar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the state government has taken a historic step to safeguard the interests of athletes.

With the revised policy, players participating in the Haryana State Games will now also be eligible for sports gradation benefits, enabling them to avail advantages in government employment and other opportunities. The Haryana State Games are organised by the Haryana Olympic Association.

He said that the decision would prove highly beneficial for thousands of athletes across the state. It would provide them with greater opportunities to showcase their talent while encouraging more young people to take up sports. The move is a significant step towards further strengthening Haryana’s sporting culture.

Panwar further said that the Haryana Government has consistently been implementing progressive policies to promote sports and secure a bright future for athletes. The revised Sports Gradation Policy would boost the morale of players and further reinforce Haryana’s position as a leading sporting state at both the national and international levels.
