KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrives at the Istana Negara today for an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
A car ferrying Anwar had entered the palace through gate 1 at around 8.22am today.
It is believed that the audience with the King today was held for Anwar to present a list of his chosen cabinet members.
It was reported yesterday that Anwar is expected to announce the list of cabinet ministers by today evening.
However, the swearing-in ceremony will not be held immediately and will be made on a date to be determined later.
