During a recent visit to his former constituency of Permatang Pauh, PMX addressed the issue of threats he has received, stating, “I received all sorts of threats. The wealthy gang, the billion-ringgit penyakau (political thieves), are conspiring (to bring me down), but I will fight to uphold the principle.”

He emphasized his commitment to combating corruption and misconduct, asserting that he is willing to cooperate and be investigated if there are suspicions of his involvement in corruption. PMX also highlighted that his family has not received any special privileges during his seven months as PM, reaffirming his dedication to upholding the principles of integrity and transparency.

In response to PMX's statements, it is recommended that he file a police report if he has received threats or faces any form of intimidation. Such incidents should not be left unreported, as proper investigation is necessary to ensure the safety and security of the prime minister.

However, it is concerning that PMX does not reveal the identities of these individuals who are allegedly conspiring against him. This leaves room for speculation about their identities and motives.

Meanwhile, Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK) in Manchester claims to have information about individuals planning to oust PMX.

In a recent video broadcast, RPK mentioned two well-known personalities referred to as Tun and the imprisoned Najib Razak as being involved in this plot.

RPK did not provide many details about the roles of the two Tuns but elaborated on Najib's decision to join them.

According to RPK, Najib's decision to join the two Tuns stems from his disappointment with Zahid, who allegedly failed to fulfil his promise of securing a pardon for him. As a result, Najib is reportedly urging his followers to abandon Zahid, as stated by RPK.

While it is doubtful that such an attempt to oust PMX would materialise in the near future, any threat to topple a legitimately elected Prime Minister through unlawful means should be thoroughly investigated. Individuals involved in such a plot should be held accountable for their actions, regardless of their titles or positions in the community.
