MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday welcomed the results of OCTA Research’s latest Tugon ng Masa nationwide survey which showed that the public yields high trust levels to the police department.
The latest survey revealed that the PNP has 63% trust ratings and 61% satisfaction ratings for the first part of 2026.
In a statement, the PNP expressed gratitude for the trust and confidence of the Filipino people in their work. The said results, the PNP said, mirrors the perseverance of the police force in maintaining peace and order, enforcing laws and protecting the community.
Along with this, the PNP also pushes for safer communities through more police visibility, faster response to emergencies and wider coordination with local government units and communities.
“The PNP remains true to humane and prompt enforcement of the law while intensifying the campaign against criminality,” the PNP said in a statement.
“Again, the PNP is thankful to the public for the support and vows to continue serving the public,” it added.
