As our favourite monsters celebrate their 30th anniversary, numerous brands, including Target, UNIQLO, and Garmin, are joining the party with Pokémon-themed merchandise. Now, Adidas has hopped onto the bandwagon with a special collection of Adidas Originals footwear.

The Pokémon x Adidas 30th anniversary shoes take us back to our childhood
While Puma and Crocs have partnered with Pokémon in the past, it is now time for Adidas to shine with its lineup of pocket monster-themed shoes. Spanning multiple models and covering a multitude of characters, each sneaker masterfully brings to life certain elements of the Pokémon it is themed after. For instance, Charizard’s scaly skin and wings become the texture of the Superstar’s silhouette. Meanwhile, Pikachu’s signature lightning appears as a charm.
Which Pokémon characters appear in this collaboration?
As many as nine Pokémons have found a place in this special 30th anniversary collection by Adidas. The entire Charmander family (Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard) has been included by the German shoemaker. Pikachu and Mewtwo, too, power their way into the list, courtesy of their popularity.
