
Subang Jaya police arrest a 29-year-old Rapid KL bus driver following a fatal morning crash along Persiaran Subang Permai.
KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested the Rapid KL bus driver involved in the fatal accident at Persiaran Subang Permai, Subang Jaya, Selangor, yesterday to assist in the investigation into the incident.
Subang Jaya police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said they are currently investigating the cause of the incident.
“The 29-year-old male bus driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs,” he said in a statement today.
The media reported that an individual was killed while another suffered serious injuries after a Rapid KL bus allegedly rammed the motorcycle they were riding at Persiaran Subang Permai at about 6.19 am yesterday.
The bus, heading towards Subang Mewah, also rammed into several vehicles parked along the road shoulder.
Following the incident, Rapid KL expressed its condolences to the victim’s family and assured it would fully cooperate with the authorities in the investigation.
