Iskandar Puteri police crack down on illegal road activities, issuing 32 summonses for offences including illegal modifications and dangerous driving

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Police issued 32 summonses for various traffic offences during an operation targeting illegal road activities early this morning.

The operation, dubbed ‘Op Samseng Jalanan’, was conducted along Lebuh Medini Utama.

Iskandar Puteri district police chief ACP M Kumarasan said the location was identified as a hotspot for dangerous activities like illegal racing.

A total of 45 cars were inspected during the operation, involving 77 individuals aged between 18 and 50.

The offences included illegal vehicle modifications, non-compliant number plates, and other breaches of Road Transport Department regulations.

He stressed that the police would not compromise with any individual involved in such illegal activities.

Such activities endanger both the perpetrators and other road users, he added.
