- The death of Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, is being investigated as a suspected overdose, police told The Independent.
- Presley died on Sept. 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles. Officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to the facility at around 9:35 a.m. Sunday morning and Presley was pronounced dead at the scene.
- “SMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose,” Santa Monica police said. “At this time, there is no indication of foul play.”
- Prior to his death, Presley worked as a fashion model for luxury brands such as Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Dolce & Gabbana and was ope about his struggles with mental health and substance abuse.
- A representative for Presley’s parents and his younger sister, 25-year-old Kaia Gerber, confirmed his death and told The Independent in a statement: “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
