Police launch manhunt for four suspects following machete attack in Bera

According to the details shared by the police, the four men being sought in connection with the investigation are aged between 27 and 39.

PETALING JAYA: Police are searching for four men believed to be involved in a recent machete attack on a 35-year-old man at a coffee shop in Bera, Pahang.

Bera district police chief Supt Zulkiflee Nazri stated that a report was received at approximately 12.46am on March 30 regarding the incident, which is believed to have occurred earlier at 9.16pm on March 29 at a coffee shop in Jalan Besar Mengkuang.

“As a result of the incident, the victim sustained serious injuries after being slashed. The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code,” Supt Zulkiflee said in a statement.

According to the details shared by the police, the four men being sought in connection with the investigation are aged between 27 and 39.

Zulkiflee urged the four individuals to present themselves at the Bera district police headquarters or any nearby police station to assist in the ongoing investigation.

“Members of the public with information regarding the suspects are urged to contact investigating officer Insp Muhamad Zulhilmi Ishak at 014-2250306 or the Bera district police headquarters at 09-2508222,” he added.

Police have also released photographs and specific details of the four suspects on the Bera District Police Facebook page as part of their efforts to trace them.
