Police seek public help to trace a 41-year-old woman who went missing after leaving her mother’s home on June 16.

IPOH: Police are trying to trace the whereabouts of a 41-year-old woman who was reported missing after leaving her mother’s house in Lorong Mewah 16, Taman Mewah, Kamunting, near Taiping, on June 16.

Acting Taiping district police chief Supt Mohd Ariffridzuan Ezahar said in a statement tonight, a missing persons report concerning Nor Afiza Zainuddin was lodged with police at 11.22 am on June 18.

He said the mother of two was last seen leaving home in a white Perodua Axia to attend a job interview at the Casuarina Hotel in Kuala Kangsar.

“Police discovered the missing person’s vehicle on June 21 at the Kampung Paya Lintang recreational site in Batu Hampar, near Padang Rengas,” he said, adding that the car was in good condition, with the keys and several of her belongings still inside the vehicle.

He said, Nor Afiza stands at 155cm and weighs 57kg, with a tanned complexion, a flat nose, and glasses.

He urged anyone with information on Nor Afiza to contact the nearest police station or call the investigating officer, Insp Sanjay Shanmugam, at 012-5039820, or the Taiping District Police Headquarters at 05-8291222.
