Boy, 15, missing after swimming in lake as police launch major search operation

• A 15-year-old boy is missing after he was last seen swimming at Testwood Lakes, near Totton, Southampton.
• Emergency services launched a multi-agency search operation after the alarm was raised at 1.35pm on Wednesday.
• Hampshire Constabulary confirmed police marine units, the National Police Air Service, South Central Ambulance Service, and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire Service are assisting in the search.
• The area around Testwood Lakes has been cordoned off and is currently off-limits to the public.
• The incident occurred on what was provisionally the hottest June day on record, with temperatures reaching 36C and extreme heat warnings issued across England.
