
KUALA LUMPUR - Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a 14-year-old boy who has been reported missing from Taman Permata, Hulu Kelang, Selangor.
Ampang Jaya police chief ACP Khairul Anuar Khalid said the teenager, N. Barath, was last seen at 7pm on Sunday (July 5) when he took his mother’s pet dog out for a walk.
"At 8 pm, after realising that the boy had not returned home, his mother started to look for him. She later found the dog tied to a tree by the roadside near their house, but the boy was nowhere to be found,” he said in a statement today.
Khairul Anuar said the boy is 155 centimetres tall, weighs 62 kilogrammes, has a dark complexion and black hair, and was last seen wearing black jeans and a blue T-shirt.
He urged those with information on the boy to contact Sgt Mohd Saiful Shahfuzi Mohd Radzi at 019-3202055.
In a separate statement, Khairul Anuar said police are also seeking the public’s help in locating a 17-year-old girl, Qaseh Atika Mohd Naim, who was reported missing in Ukay Perdana, Ampang, Selangor, on Sunday (July 5).
He said the victim’s mother lodged a report after realising the teenager was not at home at about 8 pm, adding that she was also told by school authorities that her daughter also did not attend school yesterday.
Khairul Anuar said Qaseh Atika is about 157cm tall, weighs 45kg, has a slim build, and has a medium brown complexion.
