- The Metropolitan Police has decided not to take further action against Green Party leader Zack Polanski regarding an image shared on social media.
- Reform UK leader Nigel Farage reported Mr Polanski after he shared a picture of a T-shirt featuring a guillotine and the phrase 'We’re only making plans for Nigel'.
- The Met concluded that an extensive investigation into Mr Polanski's sharing of the image would be disproportionate and an unreasonable use of police resources.
- Police determined that the online sharing of the image was unlikely to constitute a criminal offence, after considering telecommunications, public order, and incitement offences.
- A Reform UK spokesperson criticised the police’s decision to take no further action against Mr Polanski, saying: “Once again we see that we are living in two-tier Britain.”
