The Polish Border Guard released footage showing an attempted illegal border crossing in the Czeremcha area, near the Belarus border, on 21 March.
The video captured a group trying to cut through a metal gate with a power saw, with sparks flying as they worked.
Military and civilian vehicles were seen racing alongside the border fence before soldiers intervened, forcing the group to the ground.
Authorities confirmed that Polish Border Guard officers and soldiers from the Polish Army thwarted the illegal attempt to cross the border.
