Polymer Link’s public portion saw 5,122 applications for 674.25 million Issue Shares which represented an oversubscription rate of 47.16 times.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 14): Polymer Link Holdings Berhad (Polymer Link) saw strong demand for its initial public offering (IPO) as the public portion was oversubscribed by 48.74 times.

The regional and international plastic manufacturer received 11,360 applications for 1,392.88 million Issue Shares worth RM348.21 million from the Malaysian public.

The Bumiputera portion drew 6,238 applications for 718.59 million Issue Shares which translated into an oversubscription rate of 50.33 times.

The public portion saw 5,122 applications for 674.25 million Issue Shares which represented an oversubscription rate of 47.16 times.

Polymer Link executive vice chairman, president and group CEP Koh Song Heng said the group is encouraged by the overwhelming response from investors and grateful to the public for their trust in its journey.

“This enthusiastic demand reflects confidence in our vision, capabilities, and global potential. The proceeds raised will support our manufacturing capacity expansion, drive product innovation, and position us for sustainable long-term growth,” he said in a statement.

Polymer Link’s IPO comprises 121.23 million ordinary shares which include a public issue of 97.15 million new shares and an offer for sale of 24.08 million existing shares.

The public issue covers 28 million shares for the Malaysian public which make up five per cent of the enlarged issued share capital with equal allocation for Bumiputera and non Bumiputera investors.

It also includes 4.44 million shares allocated to eligible directors and employees through pink form allocations and 64.71 million shares placed out to selected investors.

The offer for sale of 24.08 million existing shares is carried out through private placement to selected investors.

The 4.44 million shares under pink form allocations have been fully subscribed. The Sole Placement Agent confirmed that 88,785,600 IPO shares offered through private placement to selected investors have also been fully taken up.

Polymer Link is scheduled to list on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on Nov 25, 2025.
