Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu Polytechnic (PKK) signed a Certificate of Collaboration (CoC) with nine Strategic Collaboration Partners.

Present at the PKK Hall to witness the ceremony was Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Senator Datuk Dr. Ahmad Masrizal Muhammad.

“Through this collaboration, we can reduce our dependence on foreign labour, bridge the gap between the quality of graduates and the needs of the industry and make Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) the main choice for students.

“Therefore, I call on all parties in the industry to always be open to collaboration with any Polytechnic or Community College,” he said.

At the ceremony, PKK represented by its Director, Dullah Muluk signed the CoC with Ria Academy and Consultancy Sdn. Bhd., Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd, Sabah Islamic Religious Council (MUIS), Boustead DCNS Naval Corporation Sdn. Bhd., KKIP Aerospace Training Centre, Sabah Wawasan Rakyat Cooperative Bhd., AMC College, KKIP Sdn. Bhd and Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company Sdn. Bhd.
