JPPKK offers condolences as police probe 19yo student’s death

In an official statement released on Facebook today, JPPKK expressed profound sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late student.

“Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (POLISAS) extends its deepest condolences to the family of the late Elisa Jonova A/P Masilamani on her passing.

“May her family be granted strength and comfort as they navigate through this difficult time. Our deepest condolences from the Director and the entire POLISAS community,” the statement read.

It was reported that the authorities were rushed to the scene following a MERS 999 emergency call made by the suspect. Forensic specialists from Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) discovered pressure marks around the victim’s neck, pointing to suspected strangulation stemming from a domestic misunderstanding.

The suspect has since been remanded for seven days until 12 October as police continue investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
