Blind boxes just aren’t enough anymore! The first POP MART bakery store has opened at Aranya, a seaside resort in Qinghuangdao. Themed around Twinkle Twinkle, the bakery is set to be a major attraction for blind box fans.
As an independent dessert brand under POP MART, POP BAKERY has previously launched pop-up food trucks in more than 20 cities in mainland China, including Shenzhen. With the opening of its store in Aranya, the brand has now officially transitioned from a pop-up to a permanent one.
What to know about the first POP MART Twinkle Twinkle bakery at Aranya
What could be better than enjoying dessert while gazing out at the sea during your holiday? The store is located by the sea in Aranya. The most eye-catching features are undoubtedly the floor-to-ceiling windows with sea views and the giant sailboat-style character installation on the beach. Besides that, the exterior features a light grey, streamlined design, resembling layers of overlapping waves. Twinkle Twinkle installations and cloud sculptures can also be seen throughout the store.
What’s on offer at POP BAKERY Aranya
The menu covers a range of mousses, puddings, and drinks. Among these, the strawberry-flavoured Twinkle Twinkle ice cream is exclusive to the Aranya store. What’s more, it offers a takeaway menu, where customers can choose from a variety of themed breads and snack gift boxes. Customers looking for a more extensive experience can also book the afternoon tea set, which is only available for a limited time each day.
