Target Pro by Watsons is marking its 10th year in the Philippine market by expanding beyond its established skincare offerings and introducing a hair care line designed to address hair fall and breakage concerns.
The dermatology-focused brand unveiled FEMTechLab during the launch of its 10th anniversary pop-up at the SM Makati Main Atrium on Sept. 11.
“This pop-up is really not just a product showcase. We want it to be an opportunity to experience firsthand what Target Pro stands for and see how we continue to deliver solutions that address the evolving beauty needs of Filipinos,” Watsons Senior Brand Manager Katrine Salvador said during the launch.
For the past decade, Target Pro by Watsons has built its product range that address specific concerns like dark spots, uneven skin tone and dryness.
Salvador said the milestone also reflects the brand’s effort to make Japanese innovation and targeted skincare solutions more accessible to Filipino consumers.
The brand’s best-selling products include its Vitamin C Serum, Whitening Serum, Luminous Sun Milk, Age Defense Eye Cream, Airy Spray, Body Moisturizing Cream, Dark Spot Corrector and Whitening Lotion.
Moving into hair careTarget Pro’s expansion into hair care is through FEMTechLab, a collection developed for hair concerns associated with hormonal changes, stress and the postpartum period.
The line includes the Anti-Hair Fall Root Balance Scalp Serum and Anti-Hair Fall Root Renew Scalp Serum, as well as the Anti-Hair Fall & Clarifying Shampoo and Anti-Hair Breakage & Shining Conditioner.
Watsons Brand Manager Mary Adriane Aguado said the brand intends to continue adapting its offerings as consumers’ needs change.
“As our skin needs continue to evolve as well, you can rely on Target Pro to keep listening, learning and innovating by developing targeted solutions for every new stage, every new concern, and every chapter ahead,” Aguado said.
The anniversary pop-up features interactive activities centered on Target Pro’s different product categories and new offerings. On Sept. 11, dermatologist Dr. Vada So provided consumers with an opportunity to learn more about skincare concerns and solutions.
The brand has an e-raffle promotion tied to qualifying purchases, with a trip to Japan among the prizes.
