- Select domestic and international flights will be temporarily transferred to Salerno Costa d'Amalfi e del Cilento airport, located an hour south of Naples.
- Special bus and fixed-fare shared taxi services will run between Naples, major railway stations and Salerno airport to facilitate passenger travel.
- The runway resurfacing project involves 500 workers to guarantee the highest long-term operational safety standards.
- Separately, Greece's Chios Island National Airport will close from 15 November 2026 to 15 March 2027 for a runway upgrade.
