Ange Postecoglou snapped back at a reporter after he was asked if he has been following the Champions League this season.
Tottenham Hotspur are without European football in this campaign, having finished eighth in the Premier League last season, outside the qualification spots.
“What do you reckon mate? Do you reckon I would have just… ‘Let’s see what’s on telly tonight. Champions League, yeah, I may have a look at that,’” Postecoglou responded when asked if he had watched “any of those matches”.
“Yeah, I do follow the football a fair bit. I watched it all. European football in general, it’s where you want to be.”
