New Chelsea boss Graham Potter wants management to pursue a deal for RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.
The young Croatia international resisted offers from England over the summer to pen a new deal with RBL to 2027.
However, despite the new contract, Potter wants Chelsea to try again for the stopper.
And a January move for Gvardiol is now being discussed inside Cobham.
Chelsea were willing to go as high as £80m for the youngster over the summer.
