
Under the aegis of the CBSE, Panchkula, a teachers’ training workshop on “Joyful Mathematics” was organised at the school. The objective of the workshop was to make mathematics teaching more engaging, enjoyable and accessible for students. Principal Dr Kusum Ahlawat warmly welcomed the guests, resource persons and participants from various schools. The workshop was conducted by resource persons Ravi Sharma and Yash Pal, who shared innovative activities, game-based learning strategies and practical approaches to make mathematics learning more enjoyable and effective. Teachers from different schools across the region attended the training programme. Principal of MNM Public School, Anju Sehgal, along with the Vice-Principal and 34 teachers, participated in the workshop. They gained valuable insights into innovative and engaging methods of teaching mathematics and described the training as highly enriching and rewarding. At the conclusion of the programme, the resource persons were honoured with planters as a token of appreciation by the school management. Principal Dr Kusum Ahlawat expressed gratitude to the CBSE, Panchkula, resource persons and all participants for contributing to the success of the programme.
