SIPITANG: Art and culture are important assets for a nation and should be preserved and protected, said the Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor. He said culture, the identity of a race, would disappear if efforts to maintain and pass it on to the younger generation are not carried out.
“If identity is not properly preserved and protected, it will be polluted by other elements, thus causing the extinction of valuable cultural identity values.
We also want this identity to be inherited by the younger generation so that they also feel more responsible for preserving the identity of their respective tribes.
