The Duke of Sussex has said that England needs to shift its mindset if it wants to win a World Cup.
England conceded two heartbreaking late goals from Enzo Fernandez and Lautaro Martinez in the semi-final against rivals Argentina on Wednesday (15 July).
Discussing the loss on FIFA World Cup on Fox After Hours with James Corden, Prince Harry claimed that the Three Lions appeared to be shocked after they scored the first goal against the South American team.
“There was this immediate temptation to fall into defence. I don't think it was a tactic. I don't think that was the plan. It just happened.”
He said that the team’s mindset was ultimately to blame. ”It’s the belief that if you are one-nil up, believe that you can be two-nil up.”
