Prince Harry is reportedly set to stay at Buckingham Palace as part of his visit to the UK this week.
The Duke of Sussex is understood to be staying on both royal estate and private accommodation during his stay.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry confirmed to the BBC that he had formally accepted an invitation from the royal family to stay at Buckingham Palace for part of his visit.
The duke will no longer be accompanied by Meghan or his children when he arrives in the capital on Monday after his request for police protection was denied.
It is understood that no decision has been made on whether they will join him for the rest of his five-day trip.

Their visit was set to mark the one-year countdown to Harry’s Invictus Games, which is being hosted in Birmingham next July, and the Duchess of Sussex was expected to join her husband on several public engagements.
It would have been the first time the family had been in the UK since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
Harry was said to be “desperate” for his seven-year-old son, Archie, and five-year-old daughter, Lilibet, to see their grandfather for the first time in four years.
It is not known if King Charles will still see his grandchildren under the revised schedule.
The visit will also be the first time Harry has seen his father in nine months after the pair had tea at Clarence House in September.
A source close to Harry and Meghan accused the Home Office and the committee responsible for assessing their security of “wilfully creating conditions that are making it nearly impossible” for them to safely travel in the UK, The Telegraph reported last month.
Harry had been waiting for a review by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) on his security requirements, but found out that no review had been taken and all assessments had been “paused”, the source told the newspaper.
The prince has been in an ongoing legal battle with the Home Office over his security arrangements for him and his family while they are in the UK after his level of protection was downgraded when he stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
His stay at the Buckingham Palace will signal improving relations between him and his father.
