Prince William erupts in celebration as Aston Villa score during Europa League final

The Prince of Wales was delighted as Aston Villa triumphed in the Europa League final on Wednesday (20 May).

The Premier League team secured their first piece of European silverware in 44 years as they strolled to a 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg in Istanbul.

Prince William watched his beloved side win their first trophy since the League Cup in 1996, jumping out of his seat and cheering as Villa scored. Wednesday's match was Villa’s first European final since William was born.
